The robust 3 mm GreenGuard puncture protection and the reinforced sidewall make the robust balloonbike tyre Big Ben Plus a real workhorse. ECE-R75 certified, comfortable and resilient. The perfect choice for cargo bikes and e-bikes of all kinds.
RaceGuard
Double laid fabric under the tread. Ideal puncture protection when a tyre needs to be fast and light.
E-Bike ready
For fast e-bikes a special release is necessary. Tyres with ECE-R75 approval valid throughout Europe are the most simple solution here.

ActiveLine
The frame of all Active Line tyres is the high quality 50 EPI casing. Rough 20 or 24 EPI casings are no longer available from Schwalbe. In addition, the K-Guard provides effective puncture protection for all Active Line models.
Green Compound
Tread rubber made from renewable and recycled raw materials. With the newly developed special technology from Schwalbe, its possible to produce the compound on the tread (tread rubber) of a bicycle tyre from renewable and recycled raw materials. The Green Compound offers good performance in terms of grip and durability. A bicycle tyre consists of many different materials. The tread, however, is made entirely of rubber and accounts for approximately 70 to 80 percent of the total rubber content of the tyre. This is where the use of sustainable rubber makes the most sense.
Why Green Compound?
The rubber is made of natural rubber from sustainable rubber trees and recycled rubber materials such as rubber gloves and door seals. This saves both raw materials and energy during production. In addition, the Green Compound does not contain any soot. All in all, this is a significant step towards sustainability.

These aren't tires, they're pampuches for my bike. Super grip, very comfortable and smooth-running. I drive it with 3 bar and I'm thrilled how comfortable, but also safe I am on the road with it. A clear gain in comfort and range compared to the Marathon Plus. In addition, the Big Ben is very efficient and despite its greater width - 29 x 2.15 - it drains less of my battery than the Marathon Plus with 28 x 1.75. The range has increased by about 2-3%.
