The SCHWALBE tube
Extreme air pressure stable! The rubber mixture makes it possible:
Less air loss and pump less often. Extremely reliable! Quality control for safe driving pleasure: Each SCHWALBE tube is checked twice at the factory for air retention.
Air pressure stability
A Schwalbe tube holds the air much longer. The quality of the ingredients and the purity of the rubber compound determine the quality of the tube already at the material stage. During vulcanization, each Schwalbe tube is placed in a mold and inflated. This is the only way to ensure uniform wall thickness and excellent air retention.
Reliability
The consistent control that provides the highest possible functional safety: Each tube is pumped up at the factory and stored under pressure for 32 hours to check its air content.

There are three different types of valves:
AV - Schrader valve (also called car valve) - 8.5 mm rim hole
DV - Dunlop valve (also called Blitz valve) - 8.5 mm rim hole
SV - Presta valve (also called Sklaverand or French valve) - 6.5 mm rim hole
