The Shimano Deore Trekking FC-T6010 triple crankset with trekking-specific components, like its mountain bike counterpart, offers first-class function for demanding riders. With the Hollowtech II crank with chain guard ring, Shimano uses a wide gradation.

Hollowtech II
The Hollowtech II crankset was developed for optimum and efficient power transmission. Hollowtech technology enables extremely light, hollow crank arms manufactured using Shimano's exclusive forging technology for maximum rigidity. In addition, the Hollowtech II set has the right crank firmly connected to the axle, achieving an optimum balance between maximum rigidity and minimum weight.

HG-X chain (recommended)
The directional 10-speed HG-X chain shifts smoother, saves weight and increases overall system performance. HG-X chain with directional linkage: The outer side is optimized for front shifting, the inner for rear.
