SQlab 6OX Infinergy Ergowave Active Saddle

The first "Made in Germany" saddle from SQlab.
The 6OX ERGOWAVE active is the optimal saddle for long and steep climbs on the E-MTB, all-mountain and enduro bike. So you no longer have to take power-sapping protective postures and all the energy is available for propulsion. The 6OX ERGOWAVE saddle has already been around for 2 years, but not in this version: made in Germany. The special feature of the new version is the foam of the saddle, which no longer consists of classic PU foam, but of the BASF Infinergy material known from running shoes. This material is very robust and brings especially in the terrain by the faster reset the comfort to a completely new level. The cover is not as with classic saddles completely flat pulled over the saddle. There are only "tapes" in the important places. These are connected to the Infinergy foam automatically and without glue.
The ergonomic shape of the saddle provides the right relief and good comfort: The wave-shaped elevation stretching from the rear to the front, the ERGOWAVE, fits perfectly in its shape to the mostly bulbous ischial branches. This significantly reduces pressure in the perineal area or in the female pubic arch.
The flat, slightly curved saddle nose, which is lower in level, also ensures less pressure on the sensitive areas for both men and women. For even better pressure relief, especially on longer climbs in the field, the saddle nose was designed wide, as well as with a flat and as large as possible contact surface.
Through the SQlab active saddle technology, the saddle follows the pedaling movement, the comfort increases, the intervertebral discs are mobilized and the pressure on the sit bones is minimized. The prerequisite for maximum performance is a fit that is perfectly tailored to the athlete. That is why the saddle is available in four different sizes.

From an ecological point of view, the local sourcing of SQlab "Made in Germany" products not only means that the long transport route is eliminated, but also that the manufacturing process is extremely efficient and subject to strict, German guidelines for harmful substances. Local manufacturing, quality assurance and durability are crucial for the SQlab project.

The perfect fit for woman and man
It's been no secret for a long time: a saddle has to fit like a pair of shoes! Because if a saddle is too narrow, it presses and that
exactly where it should not press. In 2002, SQlab was the first saddle manufacturer to introduce a system for measuring the distance between the sit bones and calculating the optimum saddle width. Thus, all SQlab saddle models are now available in up to four different widths. This guarantees that the sit bones lie fully on the saddle. Because only in such a way the sensitive
