Airwing is the most revolutionary UYN shirt. In the winter version, UYN has kept the same technologies and functionalities, but increased the thermal capacity. Some steps have been taken to make it perfect when the temperatures drop. Shoulders and sleeves are equipped with Haloflex technology, the trademark of the Airwing shirt: the three-dimensional structure increases the stretchability of the fabric, creates an aerodynamic effect on the outside, while on the surface in contact with the skin they form climate cells that trap air and form an insulating layer. The fabric is knitted in different thicknesses to create highly breathable areas in the chest and underarm areas. Micro-holes on the back also promote air exchange with the outside world. Airwing is made with the exclusive Natex bio-fibre, which dries 50% faster than conventional nylon and keeps the skin perfectly dry. This is due to the ergonomic design.
Haloflex
Haloflex is an innovative production technique that enables ergonomically optimised clothing - almost completely without seams. The three-dimensional structure of the fabric in different degrees of density makes extraordinary functionalities possible: increased flexibility, effective thermoregulation in contact with the skin and better aerodynamics.
Advanced Ventilation
The 3D knit construction of the fabric has allowed UYN to create highly breathable areas in the chest and under the arms to promote ventilation. A micro-perforated brushed fabric has been incorporated at the back for quick moisture wicking. This way, the shirt reacts to temperature fluctuations: it warms the body during cold morning outings but prevents overheating during the most intense phases of activity.
Aerofit
The combination of design, material and technology allows the garment to fit the body perfectly, like a second skin, but without excessive compression.
Natex
With the special Natex yarn, UYN puts nature to work for your well-being. It's particularly light and reduces base layer weight by 25%. The drying time is even reduced by up to 50% compared to a nylon garment. The fibre is 100% natural and therefore more elastic and minimises odours by means of a bacteriostatic effect.
