Unless stated otherwise all of our bikes and brake accessories are sold according to the EU standard brake setup (right hand rear and left hand front) which is in reverse to UK standard brake setup.
Please note: the majority of our electronic products that come with plugs are fitted with 2-pronged EU plugs as standard. The operating voltage remains the same, however you may require an additional, simple EU to UK adapter to use them

Whether embarking on a bikepacking adventure or simply staying light for a mixed-terrain local loop, the e-Substance is capable of adapting to suit your ride. At its core, a lightweight carbon frame and fork are tuned for comfort on long days and across varied surfaces, aided by the compact Fazua electric drive system with three assistance levels up to 250 watts. The latest top-tube controller lets you easily manage performance and with everything cleanly integrated, the Substance retains its modern look. Paired with Shimano’s trusty 105 2x drivetrain, the frame is also compatible with 700c or 650b wheels, so you can fine-tune the setup to best fit where you are riding. For tough rides where water, food and spares might be hard to come by, rack mounts enable you to load up with whatever’s required to reach the next supply point.
This isn’t simply about the same cliches of getting off the beaten track or going in search of the road less travelled, because the e-Substance is more than a gravel or adventure bike. Can I get 50 miles from one battery charge or even 120? For those interested in buying an e-bike, this is a very important question. Manufacturers try to be as realistic as they can about possible ranges your e-bike may manage on one complete battery charge. In practice, however, the maximum range depends on many different factors. As well as the type of motor you have, factors include the energy content (400 or 500 Wh), handling and age of the battery. However, the rider's weight, sitting position, riding style (starting frequency, cadence) and selected support levels (Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo) all greatly influence the range. Last but not least, the track profile (uphill or flat), the ground (road or terrain), wind (headwind, tailwind) and even tyre profile effect distances possible. This makes it extremely difficult to provide precise and reliable information.
