Revamp with The FOCUS Paralane

FOCUS Paralane are high performance bikes made by FOCUS Bikes, based in Germany. The Paralane series came online in 2017 and impressed endurance racers and racing athletes with their robustness and ability to perform on unpaved trails. The FOCUS Paralane is popular for its unrivalled versatility and is a favourite of riders and racers wishing to try different surfaces.

The Paralane in 2020: Optimized for Endurance

The Paralane range has optimized endure geometry to give riders maximum aerodynamic efficiency while maximizing comfort. This objective is achieved by increasing the frame’s stack and shortening the reach. It has a longer head tube, a lower bottom bracket and an extended fork. This means that the FOCUS Paralane has a head tube that is slightly longer than a pure race bike. The longer fork allows riders to use wide tyres while the lower bottom bracket improves stability and power conversion.

This series is designed to ensure maximum comfort during long rides on all types of surfaces. It features the Comfort Improving Areas (CIA) technology that utilizes a comfort-enhancing frameset design. The FOCUS Paralane in 2020 uses the Concept CPX Plus Post for the seat post, which gives the rider more leverage and comfort. The outcome is an extremely smooth riding experience.

The current Parlane unit is one of the few racing bikes with pre-installed mudguard clamps. It has conveniently located eyelets on the frame and fork dropouts on which riders can attach mudguards without damaging the paintwork and other aesthetics. Mudguards are fitted in the Fender Bridge Installer (FBI) clamped between the seat stays.

Explore New Tracks and Roads with Paralane E-Bikes

This series has a maximum tyre clearance of 35mm, which means you can transform it from an enduro racing bike to a touring road bike with a few adjustments. Meanwhile, the carbon frame makes the FOCUS Paralane one of the lightest endure bikes on the market.
The mechanical Shimano disc brakes make it easy to control even on the most technical trails. Some FOCUS Paralane e-bikes have powerful hydraulic disc brakes, which give you maximum control on steep trails. The shimano ultegra shifting system provides high precision movement and extreme reliability.

FOCUS Paralane e-bikes use the revolutionary RAT technology, which combines the lateral toughness and stability of a thru-axle with super-fast wheel change. The technology is used on all FOCUS Paralane bikes, from cyclocross to racing bike models.

FOCUS Paralane e-bikes come with a 400-watt Lithium-ion battery that can go up to 50 miles on a single charge. A Fazua Evation motor/battery unit is integrated into the down tube. At high speeds, the unit completely detaches from the drive to reduce pedal resistance.

FOCUS Paralane e-bikes combine the dynamism and agility of a racing bike with the robustness of a road bikes to produce a reliable and comfortable enduro bicycle. It rides well on unpaved trails, dirt tracks, and gravel roads with moderate gradients. Like all FOCUS bikes, FOCUS Paralane e-bikes feature internal cable routing, which protects the cables and gives them a sleek appearance.
