Asymmetrical - Strength
The right-sided support reinforces and stiffens an area that is subject to high stress. Instead of using a less effective "shock tunnel", the structure of the Occam deflects the shock to the left side of the frame, so that the asymmetric support takes a more direct path. This straight line, which follows the shock absorber structure, is the most effective way of neutralizing the suspension forces in the front triangle.
